Spirit of God, Lord and giver of Life

Moving between us and around, Like wind or water or fire;

Breathe into us your freshness that we may awake;

Cleanse our vision that we may see more clearly;

Kindle our senses that we may feel more sharply;

And give us the courage to live as You would have us live,

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen (John V. Taylor)

A Prayer for Ukraine:

God of peace and justice, we pray for the people of Ukraine today. We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons. We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them. We pray for those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment, and compassion to guide their decisions. Above all we pray for your precious children, that you would hold and protect them. We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, Amen (Archbishop Justin Welby)

In our prayers this week let us give thanks for our many blessings, and continue to pray for our neighbours, friends and family.

Let us continue to pray for the post-flood restoration work in BC, NWT, and Northern Alberta and particularly for the ministry of Christ Church, Hope, B.C. and St. Andrew’s, Hay River, NWT

May we remain mindful of the struggles and the conflicts in our own country and pray for wisdom in resolving them.

Let us also intentionally uphold in prayer the various crises in our world, that the Lord would redeem our brokenness through His love and bring healing to our world.

The curriculum offers an orientation for personal spiritual growth that is based on the fruit of the Holy Spirit that is evidenced in the lives of those who abide in Christ.

Please contact Rev Haydn or the church office for more information.
