Diane and Gary moved to High River just before the flood in April 2012 to be closer to family. They started coming to St. Ben’s shortly thereafter.

Almost 10 years ago they moved here from a lakefront home in Sunrise Beach on Sandy Lake near Onoway Alberta!

At present Diane serves on the Parish Council, Altar Guild, and is a member of the prayer chain.

St. Benedict’s is very important, giving them a comfortable venue to practice their Christian Faith and is where their friends are. They think of St. Benedict’s as their extended family. Tragedy struck when they lost our daughter to cancer. It was their church family that was there for them. Thanks be to God.
