Rev. Haydn has asked Liz Sutherland to accept the position of Rector’s Warden. Jane Tink will be stepping down from Warden. We thank Jane for all her years of faithful service and for the wisdom she has brought to many situations.

In our prayers this week let us give thanks for our many blessings, and continue to pray for our neighbours, friends and family.
Please pray for the upcoming Annual General Meeting on February 27th. Prayerfully consider whether God may be calling you to serve on Parish Council, People’s Warden, or in any other capacity, including understudy to Ron who sets up the zoom services.
Let us continue to pray for the flood recovery in BC and particularly for the ministry of Christ Church, Hope, B.C.
As we look forward to the season of Lent, let us intentionally uphold in prayer the various crises in our world, that the Lord would redeem our brokenness through His love and bring healing to our world.
For the season of Lent we will be accepting donations for the foodbank. There will be a collecting basket by the door of the parish hall.
O Living God,
We who are partly living,
Scarcely hoping, and fitfully caring,
Pray to You now to make us fully alive.
Give us the vitality, awareness, and commitment
that we see in Jesus Christ,
Through the power of His death and resurrection.
We ask this in His Name. Amen
Announcements:
Save the Date: Our Annual Meeting of Parishioners Is on Sunday February 27, after service. The agenda and reports will be emailed on February 23rd. A few paper copies will be available for Sunday’s meeting.
March 1st: Pancake Supper. It will be reduced numbers this year – church members and families; 24 each sitting. There will be two sittings, 5pm and 6pm. Cost: $10. Please register with Diane: 403-652-5679
March 2nd Ash Wednesday. We are anticipating joining Good Shepherd Lutheran for this service and they will be joining us for Good Friday service April 15th.
Tax Receipts are available in the mailboxes in the Hall foyer.

Rev Haydn continues to have office hours at the church Wednesday and Friday from approximately 10 AM to 3 PM. Helen is in the office from 10-12 on Wednesdays.
