And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying,
“Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory,
that Your hand would be with me,
and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!”

There will be feedback at our Annual Meeting of Parishioners this Sunday after service.
Please remember in your prayers:
– our congregation of St. Benedict’s, the coming year, and our Annual General Meeting
– those who are sick, suffering, fearful or in need, remembering those suffering from COVID-19 and their caregivers, doctors and nurses:
– for peace within our country, and in the world, remembering the countries of Ukraine and Iran; we pray for areas of unrest and riots, asking for wise discernment in our leaders;
– for those who have died and those who mourn;
– for the poor, the homeless, and the needy in our communities;
– the victims of violence and natural disasters, especially from the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
– our Indigenous brothers and sisters, and their leaders in our diocese and country;
– refugees, remembering those fleeing those fleeing war in the Ukraine, the Taliban regime, and other oppressive regimes;

Fire wood:
You may have noticed that four trees have been taken down on the north side of the church. They were at the end of their life and posed a danger to the building. Please help yourself to the wood!

Feb 23rd – Christchurch, Millarville, Prayer and Worship 7 pm.
